RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Fabricio struck in the 94th minute to hand Internacional a thrilling 2-1 victory over Atletico Mineiro in Brazil's Serie A championship.
Rafael Moura had given the hosts the lead in the 21st minute at the Beira-Rio stadium before Dodo equalized.
The result lifted Internacional to third in the standings with two rounds remaining while Atletico dropped to fifth.
"What an exciting result. The fans deserve it," Fabricio said after the match. "It was a difficult contest but we were able to utilize the home advantage."
Meanwhile Atletico Paranaense won 2-1 at Bahia in Saturday's only other match.
