WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- The Star-studded Brooklyn Nets would face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday without Deron Williams, Andrei Kirilenko, Brook Lopez and Jason Terry.
Williams was struggling with left ankle injury, more or less the same as Lopez. Kirilenko would miss his eighth game this season for back spasms. Terry, with a bruised left knee, was held out of the game for precaution.
The Nets started the highly-expected season with 3-8, and the injuries wasn't good news for the No. 14 team in the Eastern Conference ranking.
