= in trouble because you have done something wrong

If you send that email now, you'll find yourself in hot water with the boss.

10. have a hot temper 很容易发火
= to get angry easily

He has a hot temper, so don't provoke him into an argument.
他脾气很坏,所以别惹他吵架。

11. get hot under the collar 为不重要的事生气
= get angry about something not very important

You always seem to get hot under the collar about people's driving habits. Don't let it worry you!

= restless or jumpy

= an expression to mean that you've had a lot of something

= keep changing your mind about something
