丁尼生（1809-1892），生于英国林肯郡，出身牧师家庭，兄弟均有诗才，早年曾合作出版诗集Poems by Two Brothers。名作有《抒情诗集》（Poems: Chiefly Lyrical）、《悼亡诗——纪念汉勒姆》（In Memoriam A.H.H.）、《公主》（The Princess）《毛特》（Maud）、《君王叙事组诗》（ Idylls of the King）。
