WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Golden State Warriors rookie forward Kevon Looney will miss at least four to six months after right hip surgery.
Warriors general manager Bob Myers said it was best to address the injury now and that the team is confident that Looney will have a full recovery.
Looney was picked by the defending champion the 30th in the June draft. In one season at UCLA he averaged 11.6 points and 9.2 rebounds.
