BEIJING, Dec. 5(Xinhua) -- Liaoning overturned a 0-20 deficit and beat the defending champion Beijing 106-99, extending its winning streak to 15 games in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.
Beijing's Randolph Morris scored a team-high 30 points and grabbed 13 boards, Stephon Marbury had 27 points and Li Gen added 20 points.
Five players of Liaoning scored double digits and Yang Ming had a team-high 21 points.
Beijing lead 8-1 at the start of the game, and Morris and Marbury's good performance stretched Beijing's lead to a maximum 20 points in the first half. However, Liaoning stirred when they fell behind, and overturned the deficit in the second half, claiming its 15th consecutive win.
Guangdong beat Dongguan 109-86 in the local derby, claiming its four-game winning streak. Guangdong's Yi Jianlian had a season-high 41 points and 7 boards, Chris Daniels had 16 points, Zhou Peng scored 15 points and Zhu Fangyu added 10 points, 6 boards and 4 assists.
Elsewhere in the CBA, six players scored double digits and help Fujian claim an easy home victory over Sichuan 119-110. Sichuan's Jia Cheng had a team-high 25 points and 6 boards and the former NBA player Metta World Peace only contributed 4 points.
Zhejiang's Errick McCollum scored 50 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to help his team defeat Tongxi 117-106. Guangsha's foreign duo Jamal Franklin and Eli Holman combined for 52 points and 17 board while their team beat Tianjin 109-88.
In other games, Shanghai beat Foshan 90-79, Jinlin edged Xinjiang 110-109, Qingdao overwhelmed Chongqing 128-114, Jiangsu downed Bayi 81-70 and Shanxi tamed Shandong 104-101.
