SHENZHEN, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Second seed Andy Murray saved four break points to overcome Lukas Lcko 6-3, 7-5 to reach semifinals at Shenzhen Open here on Friday.
Murray is now two wins away from ending his 15-month title drought since he claimed the Wimbledon Championship in July 2013.
The-27-year-old will face Juan Monaco, who upset third seed Richard Gasquet 7-6 (7), 6-4. The Argentine converted four of his eight break points to advance in one hour and 43 minutes.
Fourth seed Tommy Robredo reached his third ATP World Tour semi-final this season as he edged Andreas Seppi 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-3. The 32-year-old fired 19 aces as he advanced in two hours and 36 minutes.
Robredo will encounter sixth seed Santiago Giraldo, who dismissed Viktor Troicki 7-6 (6), 6-3 in one and a half hours.
