HOUSTON, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Tony Parker is put on the injury list of the San Antonio Spurs for a back sprain and will be sidelined on Spurs' upcoming road trip, the NBA team announced Monday.
The 31-year-old Frenchman underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed he has a sprained facet joint on the left side of his back. The team gave no timeline for his return.
The three-time NBA champion has been named to six league all-star teams and was the 2007 NBA finals most valuable player.
The Spurs take on Minnesota on Tuesday and then play in Dallas on Thursday.
