WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Chicago Bulls handed the Miami Heat second straight loss after beating the defending champion 107-87 on home court on Thursday.
The defense-branded Bulls turned the NBA game into a physical one, leading 49-27 in rebounds and 44-34 in points in the paint.
Carlos Boozer had a game-high 27 points. Taj Gibson added 19. Joakim Noah had 17 points and 15 rebounds.
LeBron James led the Heat with 21 points. Michael Beasley made seven out of 13 shots to get 15.
The Heat would next face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
