WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Jeremy Lin scored as many as 34 points, including nine three pointers, on Wednesday, but still not enough for the Houston Rockets, who lost the game to the Philadelphia 76ers 123-117 after an overtime.
Lin bagged 34 points, 12 assists through the game, making 9 out of his 15 shooting attempts beyond the arc. Dwight Howard had 25 points and 15 rebounds. Chandler Parsons added 22.
Tony Wroten from the 76ers got his first triple-double (18 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists) in his first NBA starting game. It was the first time since 1970 that a first time starter took home triple double.
Former Rockets guard James Anderson contributed a game high 36 points for the 76ers.
The Rockets would next face the New York Knicks.
