WROCLAW, Poland, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Russian lifter Alexander Ivanov won the gold at the men's 94-kilogram catagory competition of the World Weightlifting Championships on Saturday.
The 24-year-old Russian managed 180kg in the snatch, and then lifted 222kg in the clean and jerk to win the competition with a total of 402kg.
Almas Uteshov of Kazakhastan won the silver with a total of 397kg, and hie teammate Vladimir Sedov won the bronze with 396kg.
