MOSCOW, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Russia's Alexandr Ivanov claimed a personal best of one hour, 20 minutes and 58 seconds to win the men's 20km race walk here on Sunday, taking the first gold medal for the hosts at the 2013 IAAF World Championships.
Reigning Olympic champion Chen Ding of China finished second in 1:21:09 while Spaniard Miguel Angel Lopez trailed 12 seconds to take the bronze in 1:21:21.
