BEIJING, May 28 (Xinhua) -- China's prudent monetary policy has achieved good results, said Zhang Tao, vice governor of the People's Bank of China (PBOC), the central bank.
Zhang made the remarks in an international conference on monetary policy and banking industry in Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday, according to a PBOC statement on Saturday.
"China's prudent monetary policy has helped maintain reasonably abundant liquidity, and kept the real interest rate basically stable," said Zhang.
