BEIJING, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Following are the schedules for the fourth sessions of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Wednesday.
NPC:
-- NPC deputies will attend panel deliberations to examine the central and local budgets in the morning.
-- At 3 p.m., the NPC will hold a plenary meeting, at which Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, will deliver a report on the work of the NPC Standing Committee. Li Jianguo, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, will elaborate the draft law on charity.
CPPCC:
-- Members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions about the national economic and social development plan and the central and local budgets all day.
-- At 9 a.m., five members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will give a press conference on the development of people's livelihood at the press center of the two sessions.
