On Sunday, the All-Star game itself takes center stage. The contest is more or less an exhibition, but it often tends to get competitive in the second half as the superstars of the Association battle for bragging rights. Saturday both the Eastern conference and Western Conference All-Stars went through a quick workout before the game, and both sides were very relaxed in their preparations.
Thunder teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook engaged Chris Paul in a shooting contest. Chicago’s Joakim Noah was a little less competitive, but did help one youngster score a basket.
Many of the players took advantage of the laid-back practice to include their families in the training.
