According to newscientist.com on December 27, professor Martyn Poliakoff at Nottingham University, UK, printed a periodic table on his single hair, making out world's smallest periodic table. To achieve this nanoscale feat, Poliakoff and his colleagues magnified the hair in an electron microscope, then used an ion beam writer to bombard the hair.
