TAIPEI, April 26 (Xinhua) -- A strong earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale struck east Taiwan Monday, according to the island's seismological agency.
4月26日新华社台北消息——根据岛内地震局的报道，台湾东海在周一发生里氏6.6级地震。
The quake struck at 10:59 a.m. Monday morning and it was felt in most parts of the island.
地震与周一造成10:59发生，岛上大部分地区都有震感。
The epicenter was monitored at 22.52 degrees north latitude and 123.33 degrees east longitude, which was about 190 km to the northeast of the Lanyu Island.
据监测，震中位于北纬22.52，东经123.33，大约在兰屿岛东北190公里处。
No casualties have been reported so far.
