A:Yesterday was April the first.
A:昨天是4月l号。
B:Was it quite special?
B:有什么特别之处吗？
A:Not for the others, but for me. I was in the library going over my lessons when suddenly one of my roommates came in. He told me that I was wanted on the phone in my dormitory, and that person would call me again several minutes later.
A:对别人没有，而对我就有。我正在图书馆复习功课，突然我的一位室友进来告诉我说有人打电话到宿舍找我，还说那人过几分钟会再打电话来。
B:Did you hurry back to the bedroom?
B你:是不是赶紧回了宿舍？
A:Yes. I went back to the dorm only to find my roommates laughing and shouting "April Fool, April Fool".
A:是啊。我一走进宿舍楼就发现我的室友们在笑，还大声叫道“四月傻瓜，四月傻瓜！”
B:Oh, your classmates took you in.
B:哦，你的同学把你给捉弄了吧。
A:Only then did I realize it was April Fools' Day.
A:我这才明白原来是愚人节。
