China has firmly opposed the EU’s decision to impose preliminary duties on solar panels imported from China.
Ministry of Commerce Spokesman, Shen Danyang, says China has showed great sincerity and made efforts in dealing with the dispute with the EU over solar panel products. Shen said China highly values the strategic partnership with the EU, and urged it to solve the dispute through negotiation. Shen added China has also begun investigations into allegations of dumping and subsidies on wines imported from the EU.
