US Secretary of State John Kerry is to visit South Korea, Japan and China in mid-April for a series of bilateral and regional talks.
US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland says Kerry will attend the G8 meetings in London on April the 10th and 11th and then travel to Seoul, Tokyo and Beijing. He also plans to attend the 27-member ASEAN Regional Forum in Brunei in June, when he will also visit other unspecified countries in Southeast Asia. Nuland says through these engagements, the secretary will continue to affirm the administration’s commitment to further broaden and enhance US economic, security and strategic interests in the Asia-Pacific region.
