The US House of Representatives has also approved the final version of the annual Defense Policy Bill. The bill authorizes more than 633 billion dollars in defense spending for 2013.
The measure includes easing limits on satellite exports and providing more Marines for embassy security.
It still has to be approved by the Senate before it can go to President Barack Obama to be signed into law.
