Another day of disappointment for Chinese drivers, even though the window for this year’s fourth cut to fuel costs is open, China’s top economic planner choose not to act, at least for today (Wednesday).
By far, gas stations say they haven’t received any notice on adjusting the retail oil price, suggesting the National Development and Reform Commission is likely to postpone the cut.
The current scheme allows the authority to adjust the fuel cost as long as global crude oil price has declined over 4 percent in 22 working days. And the market has been expecting the price cut since Tuesday.
