After only 25 games as an NBA starter, Jeremy Lin is set to cash in, in a big, big way. According to multiple reports, sources have confirmed that Lin who is a restricted free agent, will sign a 4-year, 28.8 million dollar offer sheet with the Houston Rockets once free agent signings open up on July 11th.

This means the undrafted, twice cut point guard, who is coming off season ending knee surgery and has only started 25 games in his career will have more millions to his name than NBA tip-offs.

The rights to Lin however, are still held by the New York Knicks who have repeatedly insisted they will match an offer for the Chinese-American. So, you can probably expect him to remain in Knicks blue and orange...but with a load of green in his back pocket.

The Houston Rockets did have Lin in training camp at the start of last year, but waived him and the Knicks snatched him up. Lin earned playing time only after injuries hit the Knicks hard last season, and did he ever make the most of it.

Lin stepped into the line-up and averaged 14.6 points, 6.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 35 games, which included 25 starts, before his season was cut short. The Harvard grad sparked the craze that became known as "Linsanity" with a remarkable stretch last February where he scored at least 20 points in nine of 10 games.
