If you think a library with no books sounds weird, just wait 'til you hear about this amazing Fragrance Library in downtown Beijing.
Specializing in fragrances based on familiar, everyday scents, the Demeter Fragrance Library has more than 300 scents, including snow, baby powder, green grass, and many more.
Fu Chenxi, Staff of Demeter Fragrance Library, said, "This is a library that provides no books, but a broad spectrum of scents. These little bottles you see at the shelves contain all kinds of perfumes."
The fragrances are intended to be an evocative, "idealized" representation of these scents, which Demeter calls "single experience fragrances."
