英语文摘：New York JFK Airport terminal evacuated

NEW YORK, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Travelers were evacuated from a terminal at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport Saturday afternoon after a security breach.

    Local TV channel NY1 cited a New York Port Authority spokesman as saying that passengers were asked at around 3 p.m. to leave Terminal 8 and be re-screened.

    The spokesman would not describe the breach.

    Earlier this month, a man breached security at Newark Liberty International Airport, New Jersey, causing massive delays after Terminal C was shut down for six hours while passengers were re-screened.
