MILAN, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Inter Milan snapped their two-loss losing streak on Saturday when they beat Chievo 2-0 at home in Serie A.
It was the third game Inter played in a week at home where the first two saw them lost to AC Milian 3-0 in Serie A and succumbed 5-2 to Schalke 04 in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Inter dominated throught the game over Chievo, and in the 65th minute midfielder Esteban Cambiasso took a pass from Maicon watched as his shot went in after deflecting first off a defender and then off the crossbar.
Maicon then pounced on a loose ball inside the area in the 84th and slid it in.
The five-time defending champion moved back into second place, two points behind Milan and one in front of Napoli.
