SANTIAGO, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Argentine Americo Ruben "Tolo" Gallego will be the new coach of the Chilean club Colo Colo, replacing Chilean Diego Cagna, local press said on Monday.
"The work of Americo Gallego will be very hard because the club is now at the last place of the Apertura Tournament," local daily La Tercera said.
Gallego, who had succeeded with Argentina's River Plate, Newell's Old Boys and Independiente, as well as with Mexico's Toluca, signed a contract for one season, for 1.2 million U.S. dollars.
