He said that a prosperous and stable China will not pose a threat to any country, and it only means more development opportunities for other countries.

Xi also stressed that China is ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with its neighboring countries including Singapore, and China is unswervingly to be a credible, reliable and good neighbor, friend and partner of Asian countries, and will continue to play a constructive role in building a harmonious Asia.

While addressing the opening ceremony of a seminar on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, Xi said that consolidating unity and cooperation with African countries is one of the vital corner stones for China's foreign policy and it is also a strategic choice that China will firmly adhere to for a long time.

The leaders of Singapore said they believed that China will continue follow the path of peaceful development,and China's rise will benefit not only the region but also the world.

Leaders of South Africa, Angola and Botswana lauded China's contribution to the development of Africa, hoping that China could expand its investment in Africa.
