The prime minister said Australia is willing to enhance trade and economic cooperation, and cooperation on energy and resources, tourism, people-to-people communication and cultural exchange, it will also strengthen the coordination with China on major international and regional issues like climate change, so as to lift the bilateral relations into a higher level.
He also reiterated that Australia firmly adheres to the one China policy.
The talks lasted over one hour. After the talks, the two leaders witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements and business contracts.
