BEIJING, June 5 (Xinhua) -- He Guoqiang, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Saturday left Beijing for visits to Italy, Iceland, Norway, Lithuania and Turkmenistan.
He, also head of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, is making the visit at the invitation of the governments of the five countries.
His entourage included officials from the CPC Central Committee's departments of international affairs and discipline inspection, as well as officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Guangdong Province.
