英语文摘:Chinese Vice Premier calls for int'l cooperation on green economy

-- Countries and regions should speed up transformation from the traditional high energy consumption economic growth to a more sustainable low-carbon development pattern.

-- The concept of ecological development and green consumption should be further reinforced.

-- Promoting global economic integration so as to create favorable conditions for the development of green economy.

With a theme of "Low carbon, New energy and Sustainable development," the conference, held from Friday to Sunday, was organized by the China Center for International Economic Exchanges.

The conference has invited leaders, environment officials and entrepreneurs from China, Brazil, India, Mexico and South Africa.
