英语文摘:Chinese, Ethiopian premiers hold phone talks

BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Wednesday held a telephone conversation with his Ethiopian counterpart Meles Zenawi on relations and major international issues of common concern.

    The two leaders pledged to work together to push forward the new type of strategic partnership between China and Africa.

    They also exchanged views on China-Africa cooperation, China-Ethiopia relations and climate change.
