BEIJING, July 23 (Xinhuanet) -- A concert set for August 27 in Beijing will gather some of China's best-known rock stars on the same stage.

Bands including Tang Dynasty and Black Panther, and musicians including He Yong, Zhang Chu and Xu Wei will headline a star-studded line-up for the "Back to Basic" show at the Workers' Stadium, Sina.com.cn says.

These musicians are credited with contributing to the golden age of Chinese rock music in the 1990s.

Organizers say they are in talks to bring more heavyweight performers to the show.

Tickets are priced from 180-1,280 yuan (27-189 U.S. dollars).

Confirmed performers include: Tang Dynasty, Black Panther, He Yong, Zhang Chu, Zheng Jun, Wang Feng, Xu Wei, Pu Shu, Wong Ka-Keung of Beyond, Chyi Chin, Shin, Shuangzi.
