Iran's deputy Foreign Minister has linked the British seizure of an Iranian tanker with efforts to save the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. Arriving at talks in Vienna with the remaining parties to the deal, Abbas Araqchi called the detention of the vessel a violation of the agreement. Iran has impounded a British tanker in what is seen as a tit for tat move. Bethany Bell is in Vienna. The remaining parties to the landmark Iran deal are struggling to hold it together. The Europeans say they want to save the accord, but the recent tensions between Iran and Britain over tankers are making that harder. Last week, Iran impounded a British-flaged vessel in the Strait of Hormuz apparently in retaliation for Britain detaining an Iranian tanker in Gibraltar. The EU has called on Iran to return to the limits on its sensitive nuclear work, but Iran is threatening further breaches of the deal unless more is done to help it circumvent the punishing US sanctions. Russia's most prominent opposition figure Alexei Navalny has been taken from jail to a hospital in Moscow. Officials have not given details of his condition, but Mr. Navalny's spokeswoman said he had an acute allergic reaction. It comes a day after anti-government protests in Moscow. With more, here's Danny Eberhardt. According to Alexei Navalny's spokeswoman, he was hospitalized this morning with severe facial swelling and a skin rash. She said he had never experienced an allergic reaction before. The news agency Interfax quotes a hospital source as saying his condition is satisfactory. Mr. Navalny is a persistent Kremlin critic. He was jailed last week for thirty days for calling for Saturday's unauthorized protests. Though specifically about the exclusion of opposition candidates in upcoming local elections in moscow, the demonstration channeled anger towards President Putin. More than a thousand people were detained.

The UN-backed government of Libya says an airstrike on a hospital on the southern outskirts of Tripoli has killed five doctors. A health ministry spokesman said a warplane belonging to the self-styled Libyan National Army carried out the attack on Saturday. He said seven people were also wounded. The LNA led by Khalifa Haftar has made no comment.

Israel says it successfully tested its latest missile defense system at a US military site in Alaska. The Arrow 3 is designed to intercept ballistic missiles outside the earth's atmosphere. The Israeli Defence Ministry said it had shown a high hit-to-kill capability.
