1. Sometimes, though, we want to know how two things compare to one another.

compare to 把…比作， 喻为
例句：Compare to his early work, this is a rather slight novel.

2. Further refers to a distance that cannot be measured.

例句：Don' t refer to that problem again, please.

3. For example, the planet Saturn is big--more than 116,000 kilometers across.
