A set of books that tell stories about famous historical figures have recently been recommended at the just-concluded China Children's Book Expo.
The four books also have funny illustrations. Li Xiaoping is an editor with the CHINA Children's Press and Publication Group, the books' publisher.
"A dozen historical figures are included in each book. These twelve figures, which were outstanding pioneers in different fields, are arranged in chronological order. It caters to children's reading habits in terms of humorous language style and rich illustrations."
The involved historical figures all have produced works of unparalleled influence, ranging from Chinese historical figures like Confucius --- to Plato, a philosopher in Classical Greece.
