The annual Cross-Straits Fair for Economy and Trade (CFET) is underway in Fuzhou, capital of southeastern China’s Fujian province.
This year’s exhibition opened just on the heel of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
As the first major event related to the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road after the Belt and Road Forum, this year’s CFET attracts more than 2,000 participants from 59 countries and regions of Asia, Africa, Europe, South America and North America, the highest number since its inauguration.
Of the exhibitors, 380 are from countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road initiative.
