'Father and Son',a domestically made comedy exploring family relationships, is going to be hitting theatres on July 21.
The film showcases the talents of renowned comedians Fan Wei and Dong Chengpeng as well as the famous Chinese actress, Vivian Wu Junmei.
In the film's first trailer, the testy but also loving relationship between father and son, seems to be an early highlight.
Fan Wei and Dong Chengpeng portray the titular roles in the film. Dong Chengpeng rose to fame with his directorial debut, 'A Hero or Not', which was announced as one of the '50 Best Chinese films of 2016' during last year's Huading Awards in Hong Kong.
Dong is both the male lead and the film's producer.
