In Qingdao, a number of enterprises situated on the east bank of Jiaozhou Bay have gradually been relocated. These enterprises have had to move more than 130 kilometers away from downtown Qingdao.
These enterprises include Qingdao Soda Ash Industrial Co., Ltd, Tenzu Fertilizer Company as well as a local chemical company. Authorities hope these businesses will inject new life into those quiet towns far away from the city center.
