Iraq has secured a spot at the Olympics in Rio this summer after getting past hosts Qatar 2-1 in extra-time at the AFC Under-23 Championship's 3rd place play-off on Friday night.
"This victory came as a result of a great effort from the players. We dedicate this happiness to the Iraqi people. The Iraqi people deserve happiness," says Iraqi forward Amjed Waleed.
With the victory, Iraq will join Japan and South Korea as the Asian representatives in Rio.
Japan and South Korea will battle for the tournament championships on Saturday night.
