The final games of the National Football League regular season are in the books.
Among them, the Pittsburgh Steelers have managed to find a way into the playoffs, despite the odds.
The Steelers needed a win, and a New York Jets loss, to make it into the post-season.
They got both.
Pittsburgh rolled over the Cleveland Browns 28-12 in Cleveland.
And it was the Buffalo Bills holding of the New York Jets 22-17 at home, giving Pittsburgh its ticket to the post-season.
"We've had guys step up through injuries before and we kind of, you know, we never really made the playoffs or we haven't done what we done. And to have, you know, there's too many guys to name but Cody Wallace and Al (unidentified player) and Hey-Bey (Darrius Heyward-Bey) today and just guys that have stepped up fits today. Just guys have stepped up and kind of done everything we can to not miss a beat," says Steelers's quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
The Steelers will take on Cincinatti in the wild-card on Sunday morning.
The Bengals come in to that game off a 24-16 win over Baltimore.
The other AFC wild card game was already confirmed, with Houston taking on Kansas City.
The Chiefs won today, beating Oakland 23-17.
Houston was also a winner, downing Jacksonville 30-6.
