The hosts India have hoisted their seventh South Asian Football Federation Cup with a 2-1 victory over defending champions Afghanistan.
"I am happy with the win. It's a well fought win. It wasn't easy, especially after conceding the first goal. And the team is not bad we are playing against. Afghanistan, a good team. But the boys really showed the character. We came back and we won the game in extra time. Really really happy with the performance of the whole team," says India captain Sunil Chhetri.
This is Afghanistan's last SAFF Cup match.
Afghanistan is joining the new Central Asian Football Association this year.
