Asian champions Guangzhou Evergrande is set to open its 2015 FIFA Club World Cup campaign against Mexican side Club America later on Sunday afternoon in Japan.
Evergrande Captain Zheng Zhi says they don't know much about their opponents.
"The domestic results of both teams doesn't mean much to each other. Any team that participates in the Club World Cup is very strong, but we don't know much about them. We haven't played many American clubs and we don't know their football style, so it could be difficult for us. It will be a tough match for us. Whoever plays better will be the winner."
This is Guangzhou's second appearance at the Club World Cup tournament.
