Talking about President Xi's cultural references of "sleepless Seattle" and "house of cards" during his speech when arriving at Seattle, Rick Dunham, Co-director of the Global Business Journalist Program of Tsinghua University, says the cultural references in President Xi Jinping's speech will help the leader connect with the local public.
"I think what President Xi Jinping did was to connect with his business audiences. I think that was more the American public audiences there was the CEO of the tech companies, aerospace industries and social media companies and I think that's he did connect most publicly and then he did have private meeting and private roundtable
