Amy Schumer has brought her latest film "Trainwreck" to New York for its world premiere.
Schumer was joined by co-stars Bill Hader, basketball legend LeBron James and WWE superstar John Cena.
The actress described it as a magical night. "I feel so excited. This is beyond my wildest dreams. I'm so proud of the movie. All of my best friends from high school are here. My family is all here. It's such a special night."
"Trainwreck" follows the story of a promiscuous magazine writer who falls for an orthopedic surgeon.
Judd Apatow, who directed the film, explains why he teamed up with Schumer. "I was listening to Howard Stern one day and she was talking about her relationships and her relationship with her father who has MS. I thought she is really a great storyteller. Because these are dark stories, they're sad, but she's really funny. She finds a way to be loving while talking about tough stuff."
"Trainwreck" opens in US theatres this Friday.
