Top-seed Roger Federer advanced to the final of the Halle Open with a 7-6, 7-6 win over Ivo Karlovic on Saturday.
Roger Federer offered these thoughts on reaching the final.
"I will really be able to enjoy it. This is my tenth final here in Halle which is incredible. I am so happy about that. I got a chance to defend my title which I am obviously pleased about. And here in Halle when you make it to the final, there is a sense of a big occasion on matchday and on the final day which I think is always very sweet."
Next off for Federer is Andreas Seppi, who went through when opponent Kei Nishikori retired injured in the first set.
Federer is now seeking his 15th title on grass.
The 17-time Grand Slam winner's only losses in the final at Halle came against Lleyton Hewitt in 2010 and Tommy Haas in 2012.
