Chinese President Xi Jinping's remarks on the China-Belarus relationship have been well received in Belarus.
"This shows that he intends to keep on building good relations with Belarus."
"I think friendship is above all. We hope to see more industrial cooperation between the two countries and more goods produced."
In an article published Friday in Sovetskaya Belorussiya, the largest newspaper in Belarus, President Xi recalled the two nations' support for each other during the Second World War and the progresses made together in peacetime.
Currently, cooperation on many infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects is underway.
A direct flight from Beijing to Minsk also began this month.
