Chris Paul scored with one second left to give the Los Angeles Clippers a wild 111-109 home win over the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs in the deciding Game 7 of their first-round playoff series on Saturday.
Blake Griffin added 13 rebounds, 10 assists and 24 points for Los Angeles for his second triple-double of the series.
Clippers star Chris Paul also had 27 points.
Speaking to reporters about how he managed to return to the court after injuring his hamstring in the first quarter, the 29-year-old says he was just doing what he felt was right.
"When I came back Blake (Griffin) just kept asking me if I was alright. I thought about our team and all the things we've been through, and I know that if it was any other guy on our team in a situation like this they wouldn't have laid down. So I just tried to find a way."
The Clippers move on to play against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semi-finals starting on Monday in Houston.
