Hong Kong actress, Angelababy Yang Ying, has recently promoted her boy-friend Huang Xiaoming's new film "You Are My Sunshine".
Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy recently attended a press conference in Beijing together for the film, which was adapted from the popular modern novel He Yi Sheng Xiao Mo (何以笙箫默) or Silent Separation.
In the movie lawyer He Yichen, played by Huang Xiaoming, is in love with Zhao Mosheng, portrayed by Yang Mi, while He Yimei, played by Angelababy, is Yichen's younger sister with no blood relation and is also in love with him.
Angelababy talks about her role at the press conference.
"In the film, I act a person of devotional spirit. Although I fall deeply in love with him, he can't get past his first love. So I feel good for him when he decides to seek his real love. I could also set myself free and embark on a new start. Although this is not shown in the film, I think the story plot is designed to indicate that."
You Are My Sunshine opens in theaters on May 1st.
