Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has pledged that Chinese enterprises will be encouraged to go to Serbia for industrial cooperation.
He made the promise yesterday while meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic in Belgrade.
It was the last day of his visit to the European country.
President Nikolic welcomes Chinese investment, adding his country will strengthen coordination and cooperation with China in regional and international affairs.
Also on Thursday, Premier Li Keqiang joined his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic to open the Zemun-Borca Bridge over the river Danube in Belgrade.
Serbian Prime Minister Vucic:
"This bridge will be a sign of a true friendship and strong relationship between citizens of Serbia and citizens of China and also among the citizens of Serbia."
The project broke ground in November 2011.
The Chinese Premier will later arrive in Thailand, the last leg of his three-nation visit.
He will attend a summit there over the economic cooperation in Greater Mekong Sub-region.
